Mercure Bukhara Old Town

Beautiful, modern and well-maintained hotel, inspired by local architecture. The inner courtyard with the sound of the water is very pleasant. The historic city center with its monuments is a 10-minute walk from the hotel. The whole team (reception, restaurant, room service, housekeepers) is very helpful, professional and available for any request. Special thanks to Feruz at reception for arranging a visit to Gijduvan and Vobkent, and for his great help and availability throughout my stay. Spacious room, modern, quiet and equipped with all necessary amenities. The room was very clean. The hotel also has a large, pleasant indoor pool and spa. The food in the restaurant is excellent, perfectly combining local and international dishes. I will definitely return to the Mercure on my next visit to Bukhara.

The hotel has a lovely mixed style of ethnic and modern elements. The cleaning, reception and spa staff was very helpful and professional. The kitchen personnel was particularly kind. We also had 2 original cocktails from the bar that were delicious. Excellent stay and will definitely recommend it to our friends!

Overall that was a good stay. Modern hotel built in Bukhara heritage eastern style a-la Aladdin fairytale. There is a beautiful garden at the inner yard where you can spend some time with cup of tea or coffee in a quiet relaxing atmosphere. It is located not far from the heart of historical old town (10 minutes walk). I can easily recommend the hotel for couple of days trip to Bukhara.

As soon as you get in you're welcomed by the lovely sent and aroma, followed by the warm welcome of the staff and smooth check in. Hotel room is simple but impeccable in terms of cleanliness and very spacious. Location is not far from Bukhara center (merely a lovely 10-15 minutes walk within the lovely town) you also have saffron restaurant with lovely open terrance on 3rd floor and new plov restaurant just outside 😀 along with plenty of mini local supermarkets along the small ally stretch
